Overview: The project comprised of 774 sqm of Under Floor Heating throughout with a large plant room (Boiler Room) comprising of 2 boilers, 2 air source heat pumps 1000 liters of hot and cold boosted water through the means of a large twin pump set. This amount of plant is driven by a state of the art building management system, which controls the relevant heat sources in the most energy efficient way.
Clients brief: Carry out full M and E installation as per Mechanical specification to existing heating systems to ensure an adequate supply of heating and hot water throughout the house, using renewable energy sources where possible. We had to follow a mechanical and electrical specification to the letter.
Synergy heatsource input/solution: All pipe work, valves, plant room equipment and building management systems were all well thought out and designed to a very high standard by an appointed building services engineer who kept a close eye on all of our installation methods, processes and specified materials we were installing right the way through the project to commissioning and hand over.
Technology: Air source heat pumps. New boilers. Twin pump set. Complete building management control system. Underfloor heating system.
Outcome: Client was very pleased that we able to complete this project on time and within budget.
